Welcome to OUR BIG beach house! Our custom designed Tybee Island, GA beach home (just minutes from Savannah, Georgia) has 5 full Bedrooms / 4.25 Baths, a comfortable living room with 2 sleeper sofas, & a Loft with a futon high atop the tree line, and it sleeps 4 to 5 adult couples and 6 to 10 children. We are only a 2 block walk to the pier, the beach & of course the Atlantic ocean (including the 2 surf breaks), and one block to bars, cafes, restaurants and quaint little "downtown" Tybee.

And when we say two blocks we mean literally 528 steps to the beach and pier.  You'll agree that this is luxury living just steps from the ocean when you are in our home, and you'll see why we call it "The First Mate's Hideaway."

We know how hard all you first mates work for your captain, and well, we decided to help you get away from the daily grind by giving you your own "hideaway."

Perfect for large families, multiple families, small groups, and especially "girls' getaways," our home is located at 1507 Second Avenue on beautiful Tybee Island, Georgia just 15 minutes from downtown Historic Savannah, Whitemarsh island, Skidaway island, and is only one hour from Hilton Head Island, SC and St Simons Island, GA. Here's a view of Tybee Island's beach just two blocks from your beach home away from home!  Come hide away for a while.
